"The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it."
Albert Einstein

On March 30, 1863, President Abraham Lincoln designated one day for National prayer and humiliation because the Country was divided by Civil War. Lincoln’s words are profound and are applicable today.

“We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power, as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God.”

For over 57 years, our country has recognized May 3 as a day to pray for our country after the United States Congress designated the day in 1952.

However, at this critical time, our country is facing issues that need immediate attention.

Prayer is our strongest – and maybe only – weapon against the current administration. I believe we need to turn to God as one collective voice as it says in the bible, Joel 2:12-13. We cannot wait until next year.

As such, I am asking for your help--to pray on Election Day, November 3, for our country.

As Lincoln believed, “the united cry of the Nation will be heard on high and answered with blessings, no less than the pardon of our national sins, and the restoration of our now divided and suffering Country, to its former happy condition of unity and peace.”
